Clean Energy Ventures welcomes Dr. Charlotte Kirk

Clean Energy Ventures (CEV) is delighted to announce the addition of Dr. Charlotte Kirk, to drive the firm’s European growth through its new office in London. Charlotte will help lead the investment strategy, technical due diligence, deal execution and portfolio support, as CEV expands through the launch of its latest $305 million Fund II.

Charlotte brings a formidable combination of investment and operational experience. As a founding member of Fortescue’s venture capital fund, she has led multiple investments into renewable energy solutions for industrial transformation, and has a track record for identifying new, high-growth market opportunities. With operational experience in industrial decarbonisation, and as a widely recognized specialist in renewable fuels and products, Charlotte brings invaluable market and technical expertise to CEV amid a period of rapid growth.

She has an extensive global network, having worked throughout her career with a diverse range of investors, policymakers, industry and startups across the climate-tech sector. For the past decade, she has led investments and strategies for technology innovation, commercial market analysis, policy translation and business development, helping bring to market revolutionary climate technologies.
