We’re proud to share that Cheryl Hallett has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer of Clean Energy Ventures.

Since joining CEV as Director of Finance in 2023, Cheryl has been instrumental in building and scaling the firm’s financial infrastructure to support sustained growth across multiple funds. As our platform, portfolio, and global footprint have expanded, Cheryl has ensured that our day-to-day operations and long-term financial strategy remain strong, well-managed, and aligned with our mission of backing entrepreneurs tackling climate change.
Cheryl brings decades of experience across private equity, public accounting, and high-growth technology companies. Prior to CEV, she served as CFO of North Atlantic Capital, providing growth capital to later-stage technology companies. Earlier in her career, she was CFO of brand and event marketing agency Pierce, where she helped scale the business from $10 million to $83 million in gross revenue, and spent more than a decade in public accounting at KPMG and its successor firm, Baker Newman and Noyes.
Known for her financial rigor and collaborative, clear-eyed approach, Cheryl is a trusted leader within our firm, driving disciplined execution and serving as a valued partner to our LPs. As CEV continues to grow, her role will be critical to supporting new funds, managing operational complexity, and ensuring the firm remains well positioned to invest at the pace climate solutions demand.
Please join us in congratulating Cheryl!
