Following the Launch of its Second Fund, Clean Energy Ventures Welcomes Elizabeth Pacelle as New Marketing & Platform Associate

On the heels of our new $305 Fund II, CEV is continuing to expand its team and are honored to announce that Elizabeth Pacelle has joined as a Marketing & Platform Associate.

Through this role, Elizabeth will grow the firm’s global marketing efforts and brand, and enrich the post-investment support for our early-stage climate tech startups spanning North America, Europe and Israel. From organizing workshops and networking events, to managing ESG tools and resource libraries, to creating brand-new tailored initiatives and programs, Elizabeth will support the growth of CEV’s portfolio of 25+ early-stage climate tech companies into commercial market-leaders. Guided by a passion to help achieve widespread carbon emissions reduction, Elizabeth brings a wealth of experience across strategic marketing and communications, brand development, and executive leadership development.

“As we double down on scaling world-changing technologies to reduce emissions by the gigaton, Elizabeth’s expertise and familiarity with the fast-paced nature of our sector will be a huge asset as we continue to grow our portfolio beyond North America to support the burgeoning European climate tech ecosystems,” said Clean Energy Ventures Chief Operating Officer Ted Dillon.

Dedicated to uplifting diverse voices, Elizabeth was formerly the Marketing & Program manager at The Women’s Edge (formerly The Commonwealth Institute), an organization dedicated to advancing gender equity in business leadership. In her free time, Elizabeth is deeply involved with the Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program, where she sits on the Emerging Leaders Board and chairs the Events Committee, leading fundraising efforts and supercharging community awareness.

“It means a lot to me to join such a passionate team whose work is crucial to scaling innovative solutions to combat the climate crisis,” Elizabeth said. “I’m equally as excited for the opportunity to work alongside a group of amazing founders and leadership teams and to help develop thoughtful programs to support their growth goals for the year.”
