
As Community Operations Manager at CEV, David Meyer ensures operational efficiency while fostering collaboration across the team and with external partners, including portfolio companies, limited partners, and co-investors. He also manages CEV’s Fellows program, which brings graduate students into the firm to support key initiatives and contribute to the broader CEV community. He is dedicated to cultivating an inclusive, mission-driven environment that advances CEV’s work in accelerating innovative climate solutions.
Prior to joining CEV, David worked in research labs at Tufts Medical Center during the COVID-19 pandemic, contributing to efforts focused on advancing healthcare innovation. He later served as a Program Manager at MassChallenge, where he supported startups across Climate and Social Impact sectors through program development, partnership engagement, and founder support. His work has focused on building strong communities, coordinating impactful programs, and supporting early-stage teams as they grow and scale.
In his free time, David serves as an adoption counselor at the San Francisco SPCA and enjoys traveling and exploring trails across the Bay Area.
David holds a B.S. in Food Systems from the University of Vermont, with a concentration in Community and International Development.
