Micha Ben-Naim, PhD

With years of experience applying fundamental materials science and chemical engineering to clean energy technologies, Micha has worked with technologies spanning green hydrogen production, photovoltaics, batteries, fuel cells, and carbon conversion. Prior to joining CEV, Micha worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as a postdoctoral researcher in the Materials Science Division, specializing in electrochemistry and x-ray spectroscopy applied to projects in corrosion, electrochemical CO2 conversion, and water electrolysis. During his graduate work at Stanford University, Micha researched solar-driven electrochemical hydrogen production technologies.  

Micha holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Micha is an author of numerous publications in scientific journals.
